560SEC Scans

1) The following scans were made mostly from scratchy old microfilm copies. Don't expect too much in the way of quality.

2) In order to make them look halfway decent, I used lossless compression (GIF in this case). Yes, JPG compression would have made smaller files, but artifacts are generated which make text harder to read, and would make the job tougher if anyone wants to attempt OCR on these pages. Therefore the file size averages around 250 kB, so don't be surprised by the download time.

3) These were scanned at 100 dpi, so if you want to print hard copies either use a program which automatically fills your printer's page, or first zoom them according to the dpi of your printer. For example, if you have a 600 dpi printer, zoom 600% first.

4) To attempt OCR or printing, I strongly suggest you download the files to computer. Don't try it from the Web browser. To download, RIGHT-click on the file link and choose "Save link as" or "Save target as".
